Picture - a - Day Experiment

This is my picture a day experiment.

I will guarantee in advance that there will not be a picture every single day, or that the picture of the day that you visit will be from that same day, but I will say that there will only be 1 picture per gallery, and that will allow tagging on a per picture level (which is not possible in Hugo on a resource level, only a page level), and for now each gallery will be named for a day, either today, or possbily a day in the past, in some cases the day the photograph was taken.

This site was made with and inspired by the galleries deluxe theme. I made some significant changes to the original galleries deluxe in the navigation and through the addition of topics. In this version, each gallery is intended to only contain a single picture. By limiting the gallery to a single picture it allows you to use the built in hugo taxonomy features on a single resource, which allows this version to have topics galleries that contain all of the photos within that topic.
